In the Venus Genetrix form, the Goddess Venus is seen as the originating force of the ancient Roman people. She is the Mother of domesticity and fertility, worshipped with great pomp and rituality in ancient Rome. Julius Caesar was a fervent follower of Venus and had opened a temple in observance of Venus, the remains of which stands in Forum of Caesar, Rome. Our Venus Genetrix statue is created life size and is made of fiberglass resin.
